Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Kepak Group. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our site, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Security
    • Monitor and control access to the site, ensuring that only authorized personnel and visitors are allowed entry.
    • Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
    • Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Visitor Management
    • Book and manage site visitors, ensuring that they are properly screened and cleared before entering the site.
    • Coordinate with visitors to ensure that they are aware of site security protocols and procedures.
  • Alarm Response
    • Monitor and respond to fire and plant alarms, ensuring that the site is evacuated and emergency services are notified as necessary.
  • Documentation and Administration
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site security incidents, visitor logs, and other relevant documentation.
    • Administer site-specific documentation, including security protocols and procedures.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with site personnel, visitors, and emergency services to ensure that security incidents are handled efficiently and effectively.
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that security protocols and procedures are aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Security Experience
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a security role, preferably in an industrial environment.
  • Education and Training
    • Relevant security qualifications, such as SIA License.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
