Job Title: Defined Benefit Pensions Expert
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Defined Benefit Pensions Expert to join our team at Eden Scott. As a key member of our pensions team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of defined benefit pension schemes, working closely with clients, trustees, and actuaries to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of defined benefit pension schemes, providing technical expertise and guidance to clients and trustees.
- Develop and implement effective pension strategies, ensuring compliance with current legislation and scheme rules.
- Collaborate with actuaries to produce accurate and timely pension valuations, reports, and other documentation.
- Provide exceptional client service, responding to queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in pension legislation and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver value to clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in defined benefit pensions, with a strong understanding of scheme rules and current legislation.
- Excellent technical skills, with the ability to analyze complex pension data and produce accurate reports.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, trustees, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting deadlines and priorities.
- Professional qualifications such as PMI are desirable, but not essential.
