Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and conduct ecological and Biodiversity Net Gain assessments
  • Coordinate site and client visits across the region, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication
  • Conduct habitat surveys, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and submit planning applications, working closely with clients and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes
  • Lead the growth and development of the department, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in land ecology, with a strong background in ecological surveys and assessments
  • Knowledge of Biodiversity Net Gain principles and practices, including impact assessments and credit generation
  • Chartered Ecologist status or equivalent, with a strong commitment to professional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues
  • Business development and client relations experience, with a proven track record of success
