SEN Primary Teacher Vacancy in Southwark

Remedy Education is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Primary Class Teacher to join their team in the London Borough of Southwark.
Job OverviewThe ideal candidate will have previous experience teaching students with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH) and additional associated Learning Difficulties. They will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils, adapting the syllabus according to individual students' Educational, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
Key Responsibilities- Teaching to a class of varying needs, including SEN students with severe and complex social and behavioural needs.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning levels.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and evaluation.
- Collaborating with Teaching/Learning Support Assistants to provide targeted support.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching at KS1 and/or KS2.
- Strong behaviour management skills and ability to deal with challenging situations.
- Experience working with students with SEN and adaptability to meet individual needs.
- Calm and patient manner, with excellent communication skills.
A competitive salary range of £180-£210 per day, providing an attractive remuneration package for the successful candidate.
