Production Operative

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operative to join our team at 2 Sisters Food Group. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities- Health and Safety: Ensure the safe use of equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Understand and meet customer quality requirements, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards.
- Blade Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining blade integrity and ensuring optimal performance.
- Yield and Efficiency: Contribute to achieving site targets on scrape and wishbone, understanding the importance of yield and its impact on costs.
- Line Efficiency: Ensure line efficiencies are met by achieving site throughput targets.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Environmental Awareness: Be aware of potential hazards and take steps to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Productivity: Contribute to achieving product targets by working at a consistent pace and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Waste Reduction: Minimize waste through good quality of cut and adherence to KPIs.
- Foreign Body Risk: Ensure that products are free from foreign body risks.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with ease and efficiency.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about delivering high-quality products while maintaining our company's high standards of health and safety, food safety, and product quality. You should be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment and be able to work at pace in a fast-moving business. Previous experience in a factory or warehouse environment is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Package Description- Hours of Work: 40 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: AM Shift, Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00 hours
- Overtime Opportunities: Available
