We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planning expert to join our team as an Associate Director. This role will involve managing key projects and client relationships, with a focus on environmental impact assessment (EIA) for nationally significant infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EIA planning, experience working on large-scale solar projects, and knowledge of the UK planning system. They will also possess excellent project management skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to present at senior levels.

This is a hybrid role, linked to our London office, offering a flexible work environment and opportunities for growth. Our benefits package includes a non-contractual growth bonus scheme, enhanced annual leave entitlement, loyalty leave, and private medical insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage EIA projects from screening to determination
  2. Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  3. Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or master's in environmental science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EIA planning and UK infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and legislation
  • Excellent project management and commercial skills
  • Ability to present at senior levels and across various stakeholders

Estimated Salary Range: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
