Job Description

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our facilities management organization, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining commercial gas appliances and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintenance of commercial gas appliances and systems, including boilers, heaters, and pipework.
  • Performing routine inspections and safety checks to ensure gas systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with industry standards.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in gas appliances, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum safety.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial gas appliances, systems, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary between £43,000 - £45,000 per annum (depending on experience).
  • Van and fuel card supplied.
  • Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week).
  • Participation in an 'out of hours' on call rota (to be confirmed).
