Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering engineering project work related to refined oil and natural gas pipelines, storage sites, road & rail terminals, and associated facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and deliver engineering project work to defined industry and company standards.
  2. Undertake projects ranging from office-based desktop studies and proposals to the full design, procurement, and coordination and site delivery of projects.
  3. Lead small project teams with the support of your Project Manager.
  4. Manage projects to an agreed programme and budget, taking ownership of the deliverable, of your supply chain, the specification and coordination of the procurement of materials and equipment, and of specialist support providers and contractors.
  5. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the safe delivery of projects to the agreed budget and programme.

Requirements:

  1. Higher formal qualifications (HND or appropriate engineering degree); preferably a Member of Professional Engineering Institution.
  2. Typically, a minimum of three years' experience, preferably in the energy sector (downstream oil & gas would be advantageous).
  3. Computer literate in normal office software applications.
  4. Familiarity with Project management and specialist engineering software would be an advantage (e.g. hydraulic/flow modelling / stress analysis / etc).
  5. Valid UK driving licence.
