Job Description

Job Title: Construction Recruitment Specialist

Contract: 6 Months

Location: B37 Birmingham

Salary: £16.41 per hour PAYE (Equivalent to £33,000 per year)

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced In-House Recruiter to join our team for a 6-month contract, with the potential for a permanent position, at Carbon60. This role is critical in supporting our recruitment efforts to attract top talent across various functions, particularly in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and on boarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Utilise various sourcing methods to identify and engage potential candidates, including job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an in-house recruitment role, ideally within the construction industry or a similar field.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £16.41 PAYE, equivalent to £33,000 per year.
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
