Job Title: Team Coordinator working from home

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Leader to join our team at bet365. As a key member of our Site Services department, you will be responsible for driving innovation, mentoring top talent, and shaping the future of our platform with cutting-edge technology.

The Site Services department is responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting our online transactional processes platform. This includes the delivery of real-time content across multiple devices, the sports website and mobile and tablet products, up to and including the processing and settlement of transactions driven from that content.

You will be responsible for building and leading a team of front and backend developers of varying experience and skillsets. You will measure quality and delivery, contribute and drive improvements, while ensuring that we remain skilled, engaged, and empowered, and that our processes and technology are efficient and fit for purpose.

The team operates as a full-stack team. Core skills within the team are Golang, Typescript, Kotlin, and Swift. The tech stack also covers SQL, Nodejs, HTML5, and CSS3.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company's hybrid working from home policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial experience with leading development teams in the delivery of high-quality software applications in client or service-side application development.
  • Passionate about working with technology and software development processes and practices.
  • Experience with Typescript, Golang, or other server-side technologies.
  • Experience with performance testing.
  • Knowledge of service-oriented architecture.
  • Exposure to multiple software development methodologies.
  • Exposure to generative artificial intelligence and large language models.

Requirements:

  • Enforcing governance of quality, rules, standards, and processes to ensure solutions meet Business requirements.
  • Planning and tracking works actively, as prioritized by the product, project, and development management.
  • Identifying and mitigating risk.
  • Inputting developer appraisals and other performance feedback.
