About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Medacs Healthcare. As a key member of our mental health services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to patients with mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other related disorders.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license and current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • At least 2 years of post-graduate experience in mental health nursing, with a strong background in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
