Key Responsibilities

As a Data Specialist at Wightlink, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of our business data, adhering to legislative requirements such as GDPR.

Data Management and Analysis

You will extract, clean, and transform complex datasets from various sources to perform insightful analyses, uncover patterns, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Tool Administration and Automation

Administration of Power BI, Sharepoint, and data management tools, including LLMs, as well as automating business processes and workflows using Power Automate or UI Path.

Reporting and Analytics

Work with Power BI over a SQL data warehouse, specifying and assisting with ETL improvements to extend reporting and analytics capability, and generating meaningful insights, visualisations, and reports to support key stakeholders in making informed decisions.
