We are seeking an experienced and confident mental health professional to join our CAMHS team as a Specialist Children’s Therapist. The successful candidate will have experience working in a multidisciplinary CAMHS team, providing specialist assessment and treatment services to children and young people.

About the Role
  • Provide specialist assessment and treatment services to children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures within the CAMHS service

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of theoretical evidence base for understanding, formulating and treating children and young people. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Professional qualification in either Nursing, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Systemic Therapy or Child Psychotherapy
  • Professional registration with the appropriate recognized body
