We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Critical Care Consultant to join our dynamic team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Critical Care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Critical Care Consultant to join our team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading and participating in multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of our Critical Care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill patients
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Contribute to the development of our Critical Care services, including quality improvement initiatives and education programs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in on-call rosters and provide emergency care as required

Requirements
  • Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register for Intensive Care Medicine
  • Postgraduate teaching qualification
  • Experience in teaching Foundation Year and Specialty Trainees
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Participation in at least one quality improvement project
