Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our team at First 2 Recruit. As a key member of our accountancy practice, you will be responsible for managing the corporation tax affairs of a diverse client portfolio.

The Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate taxation, with experience in managing a portfolio of clients across various business sectors. You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the corporation tax compliance for a diverse client portfolio
  • Providing tax planning advice to clients, including group tax planning, property planning, capital allowances, and R&D tax credits
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of tax seniors and trainees within the team
  • Working closely with other Managers and Senior Managers on stand-alone tax advisory projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in corporate taxation, with experience in managing a portfolio of clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive and driven approach to work
  • CTA and/or CA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified
