About the Role:
The NTQ Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the continued occupation and/or extended or replacement site coverage for sites identified as 'At Risk' (including sites under Landlord Notice to Quit and equipment moves) to minimize the impact and ensure no loss in coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance, direction, and leadership to suppliers to ensure continued occupation and/or extended or replacement site coverage for sites identified as 'At Risk'.
- Manage and coordinate Project People's internal teams, Managed Service Providers, and/or 3rd Party Suppliers.
- Ensure costs are minimized, including site design costs in accordance with best network at least cost principles.
- End-to-end responsibility for delivery of the programs.
- Responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery by Project People's Suppliers of alternative site designs, replacement site coverage, and major equipment moves.
- Interface with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure program requirements are clearly understood, implemented, and adhered to.
- Develop and communicate Project People's strategy processes and procedures.
- Assist in writing and communicating changes in supplier contract scope of works.
- Manage 3rd party SLA performance and instigate any recovery plans.
- Responsible for ensuring capex design costs are minimized.
- Responsible for ensuring Opex costs are controlled/minimized.
- Responsible for ensuring that the costs/instructions for Technical Support services provided by Project People's Suppliers are minimized.
- Work with Project People's Surveyors, lawyers, and external Suppliers to categorize site risks and report on sites with a high risk of not achieving replacement site coverage within timescales.
- Ensure that suppliers are instructed on NTQs without delay.
- Ensure that suppliers maintain a database of 'At Risk' sites, ensuring their risk level is appropriately recorded by considering all likely eventualities and that forecasting and actual data is accurate.
- Seek opportunities for continuous improvements and update Project People's processes, strategies, and reporting as appropriate, having first engaged with all relevant parties, in order to support Project People's internal teams and Suppliers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Good Delivery & Contract Management experience in telecommunications infrastructure rollout.
- Ability to communicate on many levels.
- Ability to manage supplier performance and delivery.
- Ability to write processes, procedures, and contract scope of works.
Nice to Have:
- A good end-to-end knowledge of the activities required to acquire, design, and build replacement sites and decommission at-risk sites.
- Knowledge to interpret telecoms legal agreement rights – lift and shift notices, obligations on the landlord & tenant, notices to terminate.
- A basic technical knowledge of Supplier activities such as cell planning, transmission planning, and delivery, equipment provision, activation of sites in order to appropriately manage the Supplier.
- Ability to collate and manipulate data/information in order to identify/determine best solutions.
