Capital Modelling Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Modelling Support Specialist to join our team at MS Amlin. As a key member of our Capital & Performance Modelling (CPM) team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our capital modelling workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and maintenance of capital models, including parameterisation of risk types and updating model code in line with industry best practices.
  • Assist in preparing for and running the model, and feeding into the regulatory submissions.
  • Organise and prepare for quarterly governance committees, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve outstanding validation actions and deliver larger projects such as regulatory capital submissions.
Requirements:
  • 2:1 or above in a university degree with some mathematical content.
  • Some modelling experience is ideal, but not essential.
  • Previous use of data analysis tools and SQL Database management systems would be advantageous.
