Commercial Finance Analyst

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Havas Lynx. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insight and support to our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to provide financial analysis and support
  • Build your profile around the agency, educating others on financial processes and ensuring adherence
  • Produce month-end reports, focusing on Gross Income (GI), including deferred income schedules and GI reporting documents
  • Run finance inductions for new starters
  • Attend monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings, providing analysis of previous month's performance and challenging future performance
  • Work with internal agencies, running WIP meetings, monitoring actions, and challenging financials
  • Run regular commercial masterclasses and refreshers with the team
  • Produce and review monthly reporting for the network
  • Create trackers for agencies as needed
  • Produce ad hoc team, network, and internal reports as required

Requirements:

  • Month-end experience, including accruals, prepayments, and management accounts
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial principles to non-finance colleagues
