Job Title: Team Leader Full Time and Part Time

At Northern Powergrid, we are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Accounts Payable (AP) Team in the Finance Directorate. As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in supporting, guiding, and coaching team members in their daily routines, ensuring the smooth operation of the AP function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and guide team members in their daily tasks, providing coaching and training as needed.
  • Review payment transactions, prepare invoices for the team, and liaise with customers, both internal and external.
  • Oversee and prepare payment transfers using key payment systems, process foreign payments, and produce KPIs, metrics, and critical reports.
  • Ensure all rigorous controls that underpin the payment process are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 or higher, including Mathematics and English language.
  • Minimum of three years' relevant experience using Oracle CFS E-Business.
  • 2x A levels or equivalent, one of which must be in a finance/numeracy subject, or a professional qualification such as AAT or ICM.
