About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Group Workout Instructor to join our team at Places Leisure. As a Group Workout Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe group fitness classes to our members. You will work in a fast-paced environment, inspiring others to reach their fitness goals and promoting a culture of wellness and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-energy group fitness classes to diverse groups of members, adapting your teaching style to meet the needs of all participants.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our members' needs and preferences, using this knowledge to create engaging and effective class programs.
- Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a clean and safe facility, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Contribute to the development of our fitness programs, suggesting new ideas and initiatives to enhance the member experience.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member feedback and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Minimum of CIMSPA Affiliate/Reps Level 2 qualification, with a strong desire to achieve CIMSPA Practitioner/Reps Level 3.
- Proven experience in delivering group fitness classes, with a strong understanding of exercise science and program design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and research in the fitness industry.
