Biomedical Engineer Opportunity at Princess Royal Hospital

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our team at the Princess Royal Hospital in the UK. As a Biomedical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on medical equipment, completing repairs, and handling associated administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on medical equipment in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines
  • Repair medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality
  • Manage administrative tasks to close out jobs efficiently
  • Maintain spare part stock levels to minimize downtime
  • Provide support to junior biomedical engineers as needed

Requirements:

  • Hold certified OEM trainings
  • Have 2-5 years' experience working with medical equipment
  • Hold an HNC in Electrical Electronic Engineering or equivalent
