Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team at Speedy Hire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering hire equipment to customers across the local area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a 3.5 ton flatbed van with trailer to deliver hire equipment to customers
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the local area to ensure efficient delivery routes
  • Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with customers
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of hire equipment
  • Support the business in achieving its ESG strategy
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Good knowledge of the local area
  • Strong customer focus and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
