Flow Room Performance Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the automated parcel sorting system performance via SCADA, CCTV, and warehouse management systems. Your role will involve providing accurate reporting to resolver groups and the senior leadership team, making timely business-critical decisions based on data feeding into the flow room, and ensuring bottlenecks and single points of failure are adequately managed.

Key responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and reviewing sort plans through warehouse management systems, system and flow room SOPs, and SCADA data to identify faults and requesting preventative maintenance and repairs. You will also work alongside and prioritize the engineering team's workload to rectify faults and blockages and ensure assets are available for planned preventative maintenance.

Additionally, you will manage vehicle flow through the yard management system to maximize efficiency. A strong background in data analytics and experience in designing and maintaining system and flow or control room processes are essential for this role. Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft suite skills, as well as the ability to translate technical information to a wide audience, are also required.

The next stage of the selection process will be a face-to-face interview consisting of competency-based and role-specific questions, and a management scenario exercise, more details of which will be provided on the day.
