Job Title: Social Worker - Children with Disabilities

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities team at Cheshire East Council. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with disabilities and their families, providing guidance, and advocacy services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify children's needs and develop care plans to address these needs
  • Work closely with families, carers, and other professionals to provide support and guidance
  • Advocate for children's rights and interests
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure effective service delivery

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Social Work (DipSW or CQSW)
  • Experience working with children with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
