We are seeking a Supportive Practitioner to join our team at Academics Ltd. This role is ideal for Criminology and Psychology graduates looking to work in a specialist provision for children aged 7-19 who have experienced significant trauma.

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, including those with EHCPs, Autism, OCD, and varying degrees of social anxiety. We provide extensive training in SEN and safeguarding, including MAPA Training.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting students in enhancing their educational experience and keeping them safe.
  2. Engaging in physical work while promoting academic progress tailored to each child's context.
  3. Adapting to and managing instances of anti-social behavior as part of supporting vulnerable children.

We require a commitment to supporting a diverse range of cognitive abilities and promoting positive engagement for all students.
