Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our Planning team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying future land acquisition opportunities and devising planning strategies to drive business growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning policy and development management, with excellent communication, project management, and negotiation skills. A graduate-level qualification in a relevant field (such as planning or surveying) is essential, along with previous experience working in a local authority, house builder, or private consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of the day-to-day promotion of current planning applications
  • Produce required planning documentation, collate supporting technical information, and submit planning applications
  • Liaise directly with, and respond to the comments of, planning authorities and statutory consultees to ensure the successful outcome of the planning application process
  • Manage all external consultants involved in planning applications/promotions
