About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Private Client Solicitor to join our rapidly expanding team at Duncan & Toplis. As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of matters related to wills, lasting powers of attorney, inheritance tax, and probate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing a workload of wills, lasting powers of attorney, and inheritance tax planning files
  • Working on probate matters, including submitting IHT paperwork to HMRC and the Probate Registry
  • Communicating with clients and third parties via email, letter, and telephone
  • Meeting with clients to provide advice on different areas of Private Client law
Requirements
  • Ability to draft documentation accurately with attention to detail
  • Able to act as an expert in the field of property and instill confidence in the client
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Good IT skills to operate Office and in-house programs
  • Ability to commute to our office
