Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Graduate Roads Engineer to join our North West Network team at BEAR Scotland. As a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to contribute to challenging and rewarding road infrastructure projects while developing your skills and expertise in road engineering.

Key Responsibilities

As a Graduate Roads Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting Senior Engineers: Supporting senior engineers in the design, maintenance, and upgrading of road infrastructure projects.
• Survey and Inspection Support: Participating in road condition surveys, inspections, and assessments to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Project Coordination: Coordinating and supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of road maintenance and improvement projects.
• Technical Reporting: Preparing technical reports, designs, and plans to support project delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A valid UK driving licence (desirable).
