About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to collaborate with our team. Our company has over 50 years of experience in designing and manufacturing high-end architectural sheet metal products. As a Technical Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely customer quotes, working closely with internal technical partners, and maintaining a comprehensive database of technical information.
Key Responsibilities:
* Calculate customer quotes, costs, and queries with precision and accuracy.
* Collaborate with internal partners to ensure information accuracy and consistency.
* Maintain a detailed record of estimates and technical data.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and contractors.
* Stay up-to-date with product offerings and software tools.
* Address and resolve issues promptly to meet deadlines.
Ideal Candidate:
* Possesses 2+ years of technical experience in a similar role.
* Has strong mechanical/technical knowledge, ideally surrounding sheet metal/HVAC systems.
* Holds a mathematical and engineering background.
* Boasts strong IT skills, with proficiency in CAD/project software.
* Exhibits excellent communication skills with various stakeholders.
* Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Is capable of troubleshooting and problem-solving effectively.
* Understands production processes and equipment for safety and efficiency.
