Transport Operations Supervisor

Job Title: Duty Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Manager to oversee our transport division, ensuring efficient site supervision and adherence to high cleaning standards for a large rail client.
As a Duty Manager, you will support the Operations Manager in maintaining site efficiency and ensuring that specified cleaning standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleaners and supervisors are trained and records are maintained effectively.
- Supervise employees to ensure specified cleaning and work standards are maintained at all times.
- Carry out daily audits on sections of the site, record, and provide reports to the Account Manager weekly.
- Inform the Account Manager immediately of any vacancies and provide support in appointing cleaners through interviews.
- Complete toolbox talks and staff meetings on a monthly basis.
Requirements:
- A 5-year checkable work history.
- Awareness of COSHH, H&S, and IOSH.
- A willingness to contribute to the development and implementation of the overall ethos, work, and aims of Churchill.
- Ability to multi-task with a methodical approach and work under pressure.
- The ability to adhere to manual handling and health and safety regulations as required.
