Job Description

We're seeking a talented Verification Engineer to join our client's team. As a key member of the design team, you'll play a vital role in the verification of hardware, focusing on security features utilizing CHERI technology.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Collaborating with the design team to understand and define verification requirements for security features
  • Developing and maintaining verification plans, testbenches, and test scenarios using UVM methodology
  • Executing test plans and verifying the correctness of hardware security features
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure implementation meets design specifications and security requirements
  • Identifying and debugging issues found during verification and resolving them in a timely manner

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of hardware verification methodologies and tools
  • Experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for FPGA/ASIC verification
  • Familiarity with security features and protocols, such as CHERI, is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of UK working rights

Benefits

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
