Job Title: Payroll Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our team at VRP Solutions in Aberdeen. This is a full-time, permanent position based onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the payroll department and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Audit payroll and balance accounts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to payroll and taxes.
  • Perform company secretarial work and provide administrative support.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing a highly effective payroll with managerial experience.
  • Previous experience in the logistics industry.
  • Confidence to work directly with partners at all levels, including CEOs and Directors.
  • Good standard of education - GSCE/A Level.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Adequate understanding of using new technology and digital solutions.
  • Driving License Essential.
