About the Role

Zest is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Advisor to join our team. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the HSEQ Manager in advising operational and support service teams on health and safety matters.
  • Support the implementation of the HSEQ Management System, including policies, procedures, and processes across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including employees, clients, and contractors.
  • Monitor and measure objectives, targets, and safety performance through audits and site visits.
  • Provide HSEQ awareness training to operational teams and the wider business.
  • Support the safe and high-quality delivery of projects, working closely with operational teams.
  • Monitor H&S performance and provide monthly H&S reporting and trends.
  • Support the management and monitoring of company and grey fleet driving for work approvals.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent.
  • ~2 years health and safety, environmental, and/or quality experience in a similar industry.
  • IEMA/NEBOSH Environmental Awareness / Equivalent.
  • Incident Investigation Training.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Other H&S training (SSSTS, SMSTS, NRSWA, etc).
