Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Safeguarding and Wellbeing Officer to join our team at Windsor Forest Colleges. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the college community in safeguarding cases, working closely with external agencies and partners to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of safeguarding and wellbeing within the college, including staff training and student awareness programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address potential safeguarding risks, ensuring that all students and staff are protected from harm.
  • Work closely with the college's senior leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to safeguarding and wellbeing.
  • Provide guidance and support to students and staff on safeguarding and wellbeing issues, including mental health and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in safeguarding and wellbeing, including knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
