Electronic Assembler Specialist

Experienced electronic mechanical assembler sought by CV Library for a permanent position in Cambridge.
About the Role:We are looking for a skilled individual to assemble, clean, and inspect optico-electro-mechanical assemblies, test, focus, and align optico-electro-mechanical assemblies, and record, test, and enter data into production databases.
Key Responsibilities:- Assembly of optico-electro-mechanical components
- Cleaning and inspection of assembled parts
- Testing and alignment of optico-electro-mechanical assemblies
- Data recording and entry into production databases
- Previous experience in small form factor electro-mechanical assembly is essential; previous experience with electro-optical devices assembly is highly desirable
- A documented engineering/skills qualification is required
- IT literacy is necessary
- Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings and assembly instructions/manufacturing processes are essential
- Proficiency in using hand tools and previous experience in working with optical components and clean room environments are required
- Ability to consistently maintain productivity levels is expected
The salary for this role is estimated at £24,000 to £26,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the position and the skills required.
