Technical Lead for Web Development at Rightmove

Salary

£80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience

Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Technical Lead to join our web development team. As a Technical Lead, you'll be responsible for driving the technical direction of our web development projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements
  2. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
  3. Mentor junior developers to help them grow in their careers
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in web development

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on leadership roles
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior developers
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of containerization, microservices, and DevOps practices
