We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Hoop Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of sustainable transport in the UK.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a role with real impact. As a Commercial Manager, you will be at the heart of shaping the future of sustainable transport in the UK. You will work with industry leaders, develop cutting-edge commercial strategies, and lead key negotiations that will drive the business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director to shape the business plan and commercial strategy.
  • Lead negotiations with partners and clients, ensuring optimal value across the supply chain while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee contract management and work closely with legal teams to manage risk and procurement processes, ensuring the business operates at peak efficiency.
  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring satisfaction and the growth of business relationships.
  • Support the development of new projects that will contribute to the company's overarching goal of decarbonising logistics.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in a commercial role, ideally within freight, logistics, energy, or a related sector.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and contract management.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to build lasting business relationships.
  • Knowledge of risk management, procurement, and an understanding of contract law.
  • A dynamic, forward-thinking individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer
  • £50,000 - £55,000, depending on your experience.
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, a company pension, private medical insurance, and death in service benefit.
