Data Protection Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a Data Protection Compliance Specialist to join our Governance Team at Housing Quality Network. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest standards in protecting personal data of customers and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting colleagues to uphold data protection standards
  • Dealing with data breaches and subject access requests
  • Maintaining information asset registers and data sharing agreements
  • Providing guidance and training to colleagues
  • Auditing compliance within the organisation's services
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of UK GDPR and DPA
  • Great customer service ethic (internal and external customers)
  • Good standard of digital competence (MS Office, databases)
  • Passionate about data protection
  • Effective communication and project management skills

This role reports directly to the Head of Governance and will take overall responsibility for Housing Quality Network maintaining compliance with its data protection obligations. The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
