The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to join our Quality team. This exciting opportunity involves improving the quality of supplied parts, developing technical processes with selected suppliers, and implementing product control plans.

About the Job:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products.
  • Implement control plans and alignment of product approval methodologies for efficient processing of compliant products.
  • Maintain, update, and communicate (internally and externally) supply Quality KPIs while ensuring system integrity with colleagues.
  • Audit, approve, and assess existing and new suppliers' quality performance.

This role requires knowledge of working within Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar), risk analysis, and the use of ERP systems (SAP). The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree, be able to interpret engineering drawing requirements (GD&T), have experience in low-volume, high-accuracy, high-complexity product manufacturing, and exposure to typical Quality tools.

Requirements:

  • An engineering degree and experience in low-volume, high-accuracy, high-complexity product manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of working within Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 or similar), risk analysis, and the use of ERP systems (SAP).
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
