About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor, a leading provider of care and housing for older people. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residents' living environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all areas of the home are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, adhering to high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Use cleaning products effectively, following instructions and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and quality of life of our residents, promoting independence and dignity.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or domestic support role, preferably in a care or residential setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, including COSHH and data protection.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
