Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking an Administrative Support Officer to join our Medical Unit team.
As an Administrative Support Officer, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Medical Unit, ensuring the smooth operation of our day-to-day activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving patients and relatives in a friendly and courteous manner
- Providing relevant information to patients and relatives in a clear and concise manner
- Liaising with nurses, doctors, and other members of the team to obtain and communicate necessary information
- Maintaining an efficient filing system for tracking health records
- Maintaining the admissions book, inpatient board, and patient details/appointments on the patient administration system
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Good general education to perform administrative duties
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Organised, efficient, and accurate in the processing of clerical work
- The ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- The ability to prioritise your workload and act on your own initiative
