Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough understanding and implementation of Company objectives and stockroom standards.
  • As a keyholder, open the store to receive and accept deliveries, and on occasion, close the store.
  • Liaise and communicate with the Store Manager on a daily basis to ensure understanding of any issues affecting the stockroom and shop floor.
  • Ensure the stockroom is well-organized and Company standards are adhered to and maintained at all times, including tagging, cubing, and merchandising stock using specialist equipment when necessary.
  • Process deliveries and consistently meet productivity targets.
  • Support the team with store inventory counts.
  • Actively manage the accuracy of the stock file by identifying and correcting discrepancies at the point of delivery.
  • Ensure the team is aware of any special stock situations through effective analysis and communication.
  • Liaise with the Store Visual Merchandiser to manage stock-to-floor procedures in a structured and strategic manner.
  • Take on Duty Manager and floor leadership responsibilities when necessary.

Requirements for Success

  • Previous experience in retail stockroom and delivery operations is required.
  • Self-driven and proactive in learning and development.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency with PC's for spreadsheets, word processing, and inventory software.
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Availability to work occasional night shifts and participate in inventory counts.
