Job Summary:
Victoria College of Arts and Design is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Quality Assurance and Student Experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our students throughout their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the college's wellbeing department to all partners.
- Manage a cross-campus team within Student Services responsible for wellbeing and welfare services that enhance the student experience and meet the needs of students studying at Victoria College of Arts and Design.
- Provide wellbeing support to all students, dealing directly with student wellbeing issues and signposting to external bodies as appropriate.
- Ensure students have an excellent experience at Victoria College of Arts and Design through quality support, prioritizing wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Support the student support manager and liaise with academic managers to ensure wellbeing support is efficient and meets the needs of all students.
- Arrange and deliver cross-campus wellbeing workshops, webinars, and awareness-raising events.
- Ensure clear policies and procedures are in place and implemented to risk assess, support, and refer students to external bodies as required.
- Collaborate and communicate with other teams to establish, maintain, and develop productive relationships with colleagues across the university to support service delivery and issue resolution.
- Plan and organize own workload.
- Contribute to longer-term plans and programs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Psychology or related subjects.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, pressurized office environment.
- Team management skills.
- Evidence of working with a diverse range of students.
- Experience in risk assessments and crisis management.
