Key Responsibilities

  • Be comfortable headhunting and using your networks to hire talent directly into permanent roles, taking a commercial approach to recruitment, and keeping recruitment costs down.
  • Help to source and hire freelancers/contractors to assist with urgent and business-critical projects and needs.
  • Network to build a sustainable talent pipeline for referrals and roles.
  • Forge strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • Build relationships with employees internally to help create a 'referral culture'.
  • Follow our recruitment process, utilizing our ATS and other technology to ensure data integrity throughout.
  • Write creative and inspiring job adverts and post them across our job boards and within social media.
  • Contribute and help lead on wider talent projects, helping the team to build a best-in-class recruitment experience.
  • Collaborate across the team to ensure we support each other in our quest for the best talent in the marketplace and be solution and idea-oriented in improving our recruitment processes.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A strong track record in recruiting media professionals into agency or client-side permanent roles within the media agency landscape, digital, or tech space.
  • Experience sourcing and hiring freelance professionals, and some understanding of the freelance marketplace and legislation.
  • A good understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, including thorough brief-taking, headhunting, advertising, selection, assessment, and offer management/after-care.
  • Experience interviewing candidates both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted talent advisor.
  • A consultative approach and comfort working with complex, fast-moving organizations.
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to your values and an integral part of your approach to recruitment.
  • Experience with recruitment applicant tracking systems and Excel.
  • A strong relationship builder with candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • An appreciation of the role marketing plays in talent attraction and acquisition – constantly looking for new ways to promote our brand and source top talent, especially for niche or hard-to-fill roles.
  • A focus on high-quality output and tangible results for the business.
