Director of Direct Channels

As a senior leader, you will define and deliver the strategic direction for direct distribution, aligning with the company's wider business strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing integrated business plans for direct distribution, encompassing people, product, culture, risk, and costs.
- Creating and managing a control framework to actively manage operational, conduct, and financial risks.
- Designing and implementing a colleague development plan to increase talent and capability within the area, enhancing the member experience and mitigating succession planning risk.
- Establishing a measurement framework to clearly articulate progress against key outcomes and deliverables.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex discussions into tangible actions and key messages.
- Previous experience in managing large sales teams or a branch network.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt style and interact at all levels, maintaining credibility.
- Innovative thinking.
- Relevant experience in the financial services sector or comparable regulated industry, at a senior level.
