About the Role

As a Relief Male Support Worker at Mencap, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting individuals with a learning disability in Northallerton.

Shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and sleep ins, weekends, and bank holidays. Ideally, a driver who can drive a manual car is preferable for this role to meet the needs of the tenants' active lifestyles.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support tenants to day centres, social activities, and live their best lives at home and in the community
  • Work across a range of different days and shift patterns, including some sleep in shifts (Payment for sleep ins is competitive and compliant with National Living Wage requirements)
