Job Title: Recycling Operative Level 1

At Eurocell, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Recycling Operative to join our team. As a Recycling Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our production lines and the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and rectify process and production-related problems to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Understand and implement the various processes within the recycling department to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure that production lines are run to specification and standards, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement modifications to production line parameters to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Strip, clean, and set up component parts of the line to ensure smooth operation.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring the safety of yourself and others.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and are packaged correctly.
  • Ensure raw materials are loaded correctly and efficiently, with minimal wastage.
  • Sort materials efficiently, minimizing waste while maintaining high output.
  • Remove metals from the plant while maintaining high outputs and protecting equipment from damage.
  • Dispose of waste correctly and account for it.
Requirements:
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and work independently.
  • Desirable: experience in the plastics recycling industry.
  • Heavy lifting is a requirement of this role.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
