About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our care home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the care home is clean, pleasant, and safe for residents and staff.
  • Use cleaning products effectively and follow health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the care home.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure the needs of residents are met.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or care role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
