About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will be based in Welwyn Garden City and will involve working on a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office.

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this position, you will have extensive experience in ensuring products and systems meet appropriate safety & regulatory compliance requirements. You will also have excellent technical knowledge in all areas of Mechanical and Electrical machinery safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide regulatory guidance and support to development teams and other key customers/collaborators.
  • Plan and manage compliance activities along with periodic reporting to stakeholders.
  • Conduct product safety evaluations or manage out-sourced product testing / certification as required.
  • Perform and coordinate hazard and risk assessments for new product designs.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
