Job Title: Senior Social Work Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Work Manager to lead our Screening Team. The successful candidate will have a recognized social work qualification, be SWE registered, and have current or recent experience as a manager within a screening or MASH team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management and supervision of Social Workers and Deputy Team Managers
- Case allocation and regularly assessing caseloads
- Providing consultation on complex cases and managing budgets
- Investigating complaints and disciplinary matters
- Chairing Strategy Meetings and Professional Meetings
- Managing Duty System and accompanying Social Workers on home visits
- Auditing files and ensuring policies and procedures are implemented
- Identifying and implementing staff training and development
- Ensuring activities within the Council's safeguarding services are carried out to agreed service standards
Requirements: A recognized social work qualification, SWE registration, and current or recent experience as a manager within a screening or MASH team.
